J-LTF wholeheartedly stands in solidarity with anybody who is marginalised by social and political injustice, racial discrimination, ableism, and discrimination due to gender, orientation, ethnicity, and age.
To put this solidarity into action, J-LTF offers selected typefaces through fundraising initiatives that support communities and causes in need.
Half of the proceeds will go towards selected organisations or charities at the beginning of every half of the year in order to spread the fundraising impact as widely as possible.

Belligerent Times was initiated by an interest in the word “Times” itself—the word contained within the name Times New Roman.
The word time derives from an older meaning related to occurrence or happening. In this sense, times can be understood as “that which has happened” or “the events of the day,” making it a fitting title for a newspaper devoted to reporting current affairs. Belligerent Times builds upon this lineage. Rather than referring simply to a typeface derived from Times New Roman, it invokes the notion of the times we live in—the social, political, and historical conditions of the present moment—and stands steadfast in solidarity.
JL Belligerent Times is a Solidarity Edition designed to support individuals and non-profit organisations with limited financial resources, as well as to raise awareness for groups in need of broader support. Half of the proceeds will be donated each quarter.
